Substitute Teachers for the 2023-2024 school year.  On Call/At Will - $140/day.  Long term assignments - $205/day.  

 

Candidates for substitute positions must hold an Illinois professional educator license or substitute teaching license to serve as a substitute teacher.  A substitute teaching license, valid for substitute teaching in grades PreK-12, may be issued to individuals who hold a bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education, or a short term substitute teaching license can be obtained with 60 or more hours of college credit or an associate's degree.  For information about how to obtain a substitute license, please contact the McHenry County Regional Office of Education at 815-334-4475, or see the educator licensure requirements page on the ISBE website.
